Are you a 'people person' with a desire to make a difference? Our client, a national charity working with public health, is looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraiser who excels in bid & report writing and can build sustainable relationships for funding from corporate organizations.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Corporate Fundraiser to work on funding for an established, but expanding charity based near Southampton. The company is located in central Totton, offering the flexibility to work up to two days from home. Benefits include expenses for events and travel, free parking, and a pension.
The Senior Corporate Fundraiser will be part of the fundraising and communications team, reporting to the Head of Fundraising & Communications.
Responsibilities:
1. Proactively seek new corporate partners to increase income and support for the charity’s work from within and outside the sector.
2. Manage a portfolio of existing corporate relationships and develop connections to strengthen these.
3. Research and apply for new CSR and Charity of the Year initiatives aligned with charitable objectives.
4. Lead the corporate events fundraising programme.
5. Attend networking events, speaking engagements, and act as an ambassador for the charity in the corporate world.
6. Host corporate visitors at clinics and projects.
7. Write persuasive proposals and prepare reports for corporate funders to demonstrate impact.
8. Contribute ideas and support colleagues through fundraising activities.
9. Maintain accurate donor records on Salesforce.
10. Ensure timely communication, thanks, and updates to donors.
About You:
1. At least two years’ experience in a corporate fundraising role.
2. Proactive, dynamic, with confidence to seek out and develop new opportunities.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Positive attitude with the ability to turn ideas into action.
5. Empathy to understand patients' challenges and craft compelling support cases.
6. Team player.
7. Willing to travel as required, with a valid driving license and own transport.
8. Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
