We are recruiting for a Dental Therapist to support a mixed practice in Walsall on a temporary basis from as soon as possible through to the end of March 2026. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity working Tuesdays and Thursdays, ideal for maintaining work–life balance while securing consistent ongoing work. The role is predominantly NHS with some private patients and offers a well-established diary. Please note: We are unable to accept applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship. UK-based experience is essential for this role. You must be fully qualified and registered with GDC as a Dental Therapist. Working with Flourish Medical as a Dental Therapist offers you: £25–£35 hourly rate which equates to £22,100–£30,940 per annum based on 17 hours per week Consistent temporary work from ASAP until March 2026 Tuesday and Thursday sessions, 8.30am–5.00pm Predominantly NHS workload within a mixed setting Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement Flexibility and transparent communication Required Skills & Experience for this Dental Therapist: GDC registration as a Dental Therapist Proven experience working with direct access patients Strong NHS dentistry experience Confidence managing a full scope of Dental Therapist duties Ability to work independently and as part of a wider dental team Suitable for Dental Therapist, Hygienist Therapist and/or Dental Hygienist. As a Dental Therapist, your responsibilities may include: Providing direct access care to NHS and private patients Delivering periodontal treatments and preventive care Carrying out restorative procedures within scope of practice Promoting oral health education and preventative dentistry Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records Working collaboratively with the wider dental team This role is based in Walsall, with good transport links and easy access from surrounding areas including Bloxwich, Willenhall and Great Barr.
