What’s the Job?
We’re looking for a talented Food Hygiene Instructor to join the Skills Delivery team to deliver a range of REHIS qualifications on a Timesheet contract.
The Commercial Development and Delivery Team are responsible for delivering a variety of professional qualifications, including certificated and bespoke courses, in a College that aims to be one step ahead.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for Food Hygiene Instructors with current, relevant qualifications and experience to be able to deliver a range of certificated qualifications including,
· REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene @SCQF Level 5
· REHIS Elementary HACCP @SCQF Level 5
· REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene @SCQF Level 7
· REHIS Intermediate HACCP @SCQF Level 6
· REHIS Advanced Food Hygiene @SCQF Level 8
· REHIS Advanced HACCP @SCQF Level 8
· REHIS Controlling the Risk of Cross Contamination @SCQF Level 5
You will be suitably qualified and have experience of implementing and/or managing a food safety management system. An advanced food hygiene certificate is required for this role, but training will be provided if required. Experience of delivering certificated courses would be an advantage but training will be provided.
To succeed in the role, you will have some or all of the following:
· A current Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate is essential for this role
· Experience of working in a Food Safety Management role is essential.
· An Advanced Food Hygiene certificate is desirable
· Group Training Certificate is desirable
· Experience of delivering certificated courses is desirable
· Strong customer service/ organisation/ teamworking/ relationship building skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· This post is required to be based on Campus
Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific software/systems
Adaptability to evolving digital opportunities and willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
