Continuous Improvement Support Analyst (16299)
Description
Continuous Improvement Support Analyst
Maintenance Control sits at the heart of our Integrated Control Centre (ICC), overseeing the health of our Airbus A320 family fleet and ensuring all maintenance activities are safely and efficiently managed. As a Continuous Improvement Support Analyst, you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence. Using advanced analytics, forecasting, and decision-support tools, you’ll identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement—helping easyJet deliver world-class performance while keeping costs low and aircraft airworthy.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you’ll take ownership of analysing and reporting on our fleet of over 350 Airbus aircraft, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive real operational improvement. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to define problems, provide detailed recommendations, and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained. From ad-hoc data extraction and visualisation to leading multiple concurrent projects, you’ll be accountable for delivering accurate findings that support decision-making at all levels, including senior management. You’ll also develop and champion best practices, helping us to manage risk, optimise costs, and enhance performance across the operation.
What you’ll need to do the role:
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of driving process improvements and change, who can work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively across the business. You’ll bring strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret raw data, generate meaningful reports, and apply innovative techniques to uncover insights. Practical experience with databases, data extraction, and transformation is key, alongside a creative approach to data visualisation and presenting findings. Expert-level Excel skills are essential, and experience with SQL, MS Access, statistical analysis tools, or programming languages such as Python will be highly valued. Knowledge of statistical techniques—such as time series analysis, multivariate analysis, forecasting—and an understanding of mathematical optimisation will also help you succeed in this role. A willingness to learn and develop new IT skills, including tools like SharePoint and Tableau, will be expected.
