Health & Safety Officer WarrenpointRole: Health & Safety OfficerLocation: WarrenpointSalary: £26,700Contract: Permanent Full timeHours of work: Monday Friday, 9am 5pmThe Company:Our client is an Industry leading facilities management company which covers over 30,000 properties across the island of Ireland.Main dutiesSupporting the Health and Safety Manager in the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) systemsLiaison with the Health and Safety Manager assisting with the generation and maintenance of quality documentation.Supporting the reporting, investigation and documentation of incidents, near misses and non-conformancesOverseeing health and safety training compliance and coordination across the organisation .Undertaking site inspections, audits and supporting the completion and review of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)Supporting internal auditing processes and ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001)Assisting with compliance monitoring and ensuring standards are maintained across projectsCoordinating health and safety training and competency requirements across the businessWorking closely with operational teams to promote safe systems of work and positive safety cultureSupporting the development and delivery of health and safety initiatives and campaigns across the businessUndertake any other duty deemed necessary by Management, to ensure the efficient running of the businessWhat they are looking for:NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent Health and Safety qualificationA minimum of 2 years experience in the Engineering, Construction Industry or similar environment in a Health & Safety roleWorking knowledge of Quality Assurance within the construction industryUnderstanding of safe systems of work within construction environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and TeamsStrong Knowledge of Legislation in relation to Health & SafetyWorking experience of auditing / operating ISO9001/14001/18001 [HA1] accreditation systemFull UK driving licence (essential)Why you want to work for this company:P ension scheme30 days annual leaveB ereavement leaveD eath in service benefi tHealth Shield Cash PlanA ccess to 24/7C ounselling and wellbeing supportBirthday Day off.If this role is of interest to you or you wish to discuss further:Please contact PeterEmail your CVTPBN1_UKTJ
