Job Description: Embark on a New Chapter as a Supply Chain Material Coordinator!
At Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems, LLC (R2S), we embrace innovation and collaboration to foster a resilient U.S. supply chain while supporting Israeli defense missions. We're seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Material Coordinator to enhance our Supply Chain organization.
This role involves expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems within a manufacturing context, focusing on data-driven insights, material and workforce forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration to meet organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and release purchase requisitions for direct and indirect orders.
* Manage requisitions for change orders, coordinating with PSTDs, ECNs, and contractual documents.
* Serve as a liaison between Contracts, Program Managers, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
* Coordinate with Program Managers to ensure timely requisition releases aligned with forecasts.
* Collaborate with cross-functional IPT to meet schedules and delivery demands.
* Lead process improvement initiatives.
* Utilize ERP systems to synchronize complex production schedules efficiently.
* Maintain the integrity of shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems through performance metrics.
* Perform Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting.
* Facilitate Kit Readiness in collaboration with engineering, operations, and documentation teams.
* Communicate material risks and impacts to production stakeholders.
* Proactively resolve material exceptions to prevent production disruptions.
* Perform additional duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent experience of 8+ years.
* At least two years of FAR/DFAR compliance experience.
* Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
* Effective communication skills across organizational levels.
* Self-starter with a positive attitude.
* Experience in planning, scheduling, production control, or supply chain domains.
* Proficiency with MRP systems.
* Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Expertise:
* Active Secret Clearance.
* Experience with government contracting, DoD, or non-DoD clients.
* Familiarity with IFS system is a plus.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Work Environment: Hybrid setup with remote work and occasional travel to Arlington, VA or Camden, AR.
Travel: Up to 5%, mainly domestic.
