Workfast is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development / Project Manager to join our client based in Welshpool, WA.
This role combines both client-facing business development and hands‑on project management, supporting new project growth while overseeing the successful delivery of existing and upcoming sites. This position will suit a civil or pavements professional with strong Pilbara exposure, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop long‑term client relationships while managing operational delivery.

What You Need
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management - (Preferred, not required)
* Experience in civil, pavements, or related infrastructure environments
* Previous sales, business development, or client engagement experience
* Strong knowledge of the Pilbara region and major industry stakeholders
* Ability to manage projects end-to-end while building new client networks
* Strong commercial judgement, communication skills, and relationship development capability
* Flexibility to travel throughout WA as required
What You'll Be Doing
* Meeting with new and existing clients to identify, develop, and secure project opportunities
* Managing new and existing project sites, ensuring safe and efficient delivery
* Building strong relationships across the Pilbara and broader WA market
* Preparing proposals, tenders, and project documentation
* Working closely with internal engineering, operations, and leadership teams
* Supporting both business growth and seamless site execution in a 50/50 capacity
* Travelling to Pilbara project locations as required
