Working hours:
* Full-time
* Monday to Friday
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be offered:
* Basic salary of £60,000 - £70,000
* Bonus Structure
* Car Allowance
* Overall package of £65,000 - £80,000

Key duties for the Quantity Surveyor role will include, but will not be limited to:
* Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
* Monitor project spending and identify potential cost overruns.
* Advise on cost-saving measures
* Prepare and manage tender documents and contracts.
* Negotiate contract terms and conditions.
* Manage variations and claims
* Provide financial advice to clients
* Identify and assess potential risks to the project.
* Develop risk management strategies and mitigation plan
Quantity Surveyor requirements:
* Strong analytical and numerical skills: To accurately estimate costs and manage budgets.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Good understanding of construction methods and processes, in order to effectively manage costs and contracts.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations to ensure compliance with building regulations and other legal requirements.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills, to identify and resolve issues that arise during the project.
* IT skills, to use relevant software and databases.
