Job Purpose
To ensure Accommodation Units are maintained to required standard available to meet customers’ needs and lead the team to assist in supporting customers.
To support the delivery of additional accommodation through B&B and Hotels when it is required.

Roles that require PVG Membership
From 1 April 2023, roles requiring PVG membership must meet the cost of the PVG membership if salary is £30,000 or above. The Council will pay the cost initially (£18 for existing members, £59 for non-members) and deduct it from the first full month’s salary.
Shift Pattern
2 day shifts one week and a day and night shift the following week on a rolling 8 week rota, including weekend work.
Responsibilities
* Ensure Accommodation Units are maintained to required standard.
* Lead the team to assist in supporting customers.
* Support delivery of additional accommodation through B&B and Hotels when required.
* Work across the whole city and accompany customers.
* Work lone and independently when necessary.
* Maintain records of personal development.
* Work out with office hours as required.
Qualifications
* Educated to standard grade level or equivalent.
* PVG Membership for regulated work or obtain prior to formal offer of employment.
Skills and Competencies
* Ability to form, develop, sustain and maintain relationships with customers.
* Ability to work alone and use initiative.
* Ability to write reports and letters.
* Ability to liaise and work with a variety of agencies and colleagues.
* High level of organisation and time management skills.
* Competent keyboard and IT skills.
* Commitment to work with those with challenging needs to avoid exclusion.
* Ability to form, develop, sustain and maintain relationships with customers to achieve outcomes.
* Ability to demonstrate concern for others and encourage them to express themselves.
* Ability to advocate on behalf of customers.
