Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Area: Stroud
Salary: £88.92 - £105 per day
Hours of work: 8:30-3:15 Monday- Friday
Monarch Education are recruiting for a school in Centre of Stroud who are looking for individuals to take on a Behaviour Mentoring role. The school is seeking someone who is confident communicating and interacting with young people and supporting them with their social, emotional and mental health needs.

Job Description:
Working with children in the classroom setting
Managing challenging behaviour
Working with students one to one
Acting as a positive role model to students
Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of studentsThe school are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with young people, this could be as a Sports Coach, Dance Leader, Scout Leader or something similar
Has a positive attitude
Can engage children in and out of the classroom
Feels confident managing challenging behaviour
Has a can-do positive attitude

Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience working with SEND students, primary or secondary aged students or relevant background e.g. recent psychology graduate, experience working in a care environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
Valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
