FEMALE AND DRIVER PREFERRED - MANUAL LICENSE
Shift times vary and can include 10am - 10pm, 8am - 11pm, 2pm - 10pm or waking nights from 10pm - 8am.
Responsibilities
* Support individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their goals and outcomes, making a positive difference daily.
* Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behaviour support as needed.
* Expand social networks and connections for the people we support.
* Work within a bespoke team around each individual to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.
* Support with daily activities in line with individual plans, including medication administration and meal preparation when required.
* Engage in person-centred approaches to help individuals live their best life.
About the Role
Neil is nonverbal and uses his own version of Makaton to communicate. He enjoys going out in his car, visiting parks, cycling, playing basketball, and listening to music or watching movies at home. He attends a day centre Monday–Friday for a few hours and requires support at home for daily living tasks.
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual and the Personal Assistants work collaboratively to meet safety, wellbeing and aspirations.
