Health Safety And Environmental (HSE) Coordinator

Monday to Friday, –
Health Safety and Environment Coordinator required for a specialised manufacturer of construction products.
The Successful HSE Coordinator will come with experience from a similar role, those from manufacturing will be at a significant advantage. You will have previous experience of working with a team. You will have excellent organisational skills. You will be able to demonstrate and evidence competence in HSE matters and ideally hold IOSH Managing Safely.
The Health and Safety Environment Coordinator Role:
• Work with and in support to the HSE Manager
• Assist with implementing and supporting the HSE management system.
• Following guidance, conduct on-site Risk Assessments and review current risk assessments.
• Implement health and safety policies & procedures as directed by HSE Manager and Factory Manager.
• In conjunction with the HSE Manager, deliver, conduct and/or co-ordinate appropriate health and safety training programmes.
• Maintain a comprehensive training record on each employee.
• Support the HSE Manager in maintaining database re: Chemicals; PPE; Legal Register
• Liaison with operations on a daily basis to ensure site compliance.
• Site assessments, internal auditing keeping daily/weekly records.
