The Role and Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Receptionist/Administrator to join our Aberdeen site, working alongside the Senior Receptionist and reporting to the Facilities Lead.

The role is full time working 37.5 hours per week. The role will man our busy reception in a team of two and ensure all internal and external visitors are greeted with a warm welcome. Main duties and responsibilities will include;

* Provide a warm and professional welcome to internal and external visitors to the EnerMech building ensuring an excellent first point of contact for everyone, projecting EnerMech’s positive image.
* Open all incoming mail and prepare for distribution.
* Project an excellent telephone manner and manage a busy switchboard with smooth efficient transferring of incoming calls.
* Provide visitor badges to relevant people and maintain a log for these for security and Health and Safety regulations.
* Booking taxis
* Franking mail
* Processing daily delivery notes onto the system effectively and efficiently.
* Responsible for raising purchase quotes/purchase orders
* Responsible for receipting and ensuring goods are goods received noted
* Assisting with Document Control when required.

The Requirements

You will be educated to Standard Grade level and ideally have previous experience in a similar role/industry. You will have a good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages.

You will have a friendly and approachable manner, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
