This role involves playing a lead part in shift planning and ensuring proper documentation. The worker will support the development of the home and services for young people, providing daily care and support. Responsibilities include fulfilling key worker duties according to the 2015 standards and regulations, adopting flexible support approaches, and encouraging young people's participation in residents' meetings and decision-making. The role also involves promoting children's rights, undertaking sleeping-in duties as part of a rota, and contributing to staff meetings, training, supervision, and performance reviews. With appropriate training, the worker may also participate in induction and supervise colleagues.
