Lecturers/Senior Lecturers, Humanities & Social Sciences, UNSW Canberra. This is a fixed‑term contract role based in Australia with 2 x full-time (1.0 FTE) and 1 x part-time (0.5 FTE) positions. Duration: 2 years. Remuneration: Level B from $127,947; Level C from $155,403 plus 17% super. Location: UNSW Canberra, ADFA Campus.

Role Context
These new teaching and research positions are vital to the development, delivery and marking of the new suite of asynchronous courses within the School of Humanities & Social Sciences. You will share deep knowledge in a humanities discipline relevant to the study of warfare.
Who You Are (Skills And Experience)
* A PhD (or close to completion) in a humanities discipline relevant to the study of warfare (e.g., history, strategic studies, security studies, politics, area studies).
* Preference for the ability to teach at undergraduate or postgraduate levels in courses such as Australian Military History, Military Ethics, or Theory and Application of Land Power.
* A track record (or advanced plans) for teaching and researching in areas relevant to warfare, and/or relevant work experience.
* Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
