The role We are looking for a commercially driven AppStore Product Owner to lead the next phase of growth for our thriving App Marketplace, which features over 130 third party integrations. These apps extend our platform’s capabilities, helping merchants run smarter, faster and more efficiently. You will be responsible for driving the commercial delivery and innovation of the App Marketplace, ensuring alignment with business goals, financial performance and customer satisfaction. Working cross functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance and Commercial teams, you will shape the roadmap, influence strategy and own the P&L performance of your product area. Your leadership will strengthen Epos Now’s position as a market leader in retail and hospitality tech, developing strategic partnerships, driving embedded finance opportunities and leveraging AI to create scalable, automated solutions. What you’ll do Lead the strategic vision for the Epos Now App Marketplace, driving innovation and identifying new commercial opportunities Deliver and communicate a clear roadmap, aligning priorities with company goals and financial forecasts Own the P&L including forecasting, unit economics, CAC, churn and ARR/MRR performance ️ Champion customer needs using data, interviews and insights to shape the roadmap and improve NPS (30 target) Build and nurture strong commercial partnerships across accounting, delivery, eCommerce and more Embed AI first methodologies to improve efficiency, scalability and customer experience Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless go to market execution and stakeholder alignment Mentor and develop your team, fostering a high performing, innovative product culture What we’re looking for ✅ Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in SaaS, fintech or marketplace environments ✅ Strong commercial acumen with ownership of P&L and forecasting ✅ Deep understanding of partner ecosystems, integrations and go to market strategies ✅ Experience building or managing App Stores or third party developer ecosystems ✅ Passion for AI driven innovation and automation ✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills ✅ A proactive, data led mindset with the ability to deliver results in a fast paced environment Skills and Experience Technical Skills ✅ Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, POS systems, or marketplace ecosystems ✅ Experience working with APIs, app integrations, or third-party developer tools ✅ Familiarity with product roadmaps, backlog management, and agile methodologies ✅ Data literacy – ability to interpret analytics, KPIs, adoption metrics, and unit economics ✅ Experience embedding AI, automation, or technology-driven solutions into products Non-Technical Skills ✅ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills ✅ Customer-centric mindset with experience gathering insights through interviews, surveys, or research ✅ Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority ✅ Strategic thinking and problem-solving with a data-informed approach ✅ Strong organisational skills, prioritisation, and time management in a fast-paced environment Interview Process If your application meets the role requirements, you will be invited to a short call with our recruitment team.
