Join a global player in foodmanufacturing equipment as a Technical Support Engineer. Youll play a vital role supporting customer service teams, helping identify complex engineering parts, and ensuring smooth communication across international supply chainsall while working in a supportive, fast-paced environment where attention to detail and technical curiosity are valued.
What youll be doing:
Reviewing customer reports and technician feedback to identify required parts
Analysing electrical/mechanical drawings to verify or source components
Using partial part numbers or images to trace and identify full assemblies
Communicating with global stakeholders via email, phone, and MS Teams
Managing and organising your own workload to meet KPIs
Logging parts and system data accurately into internal systems
Supporting wider team during system changes, training, and absence cover
Collaborating across departments to chase updates and close enquiries
Recommending parts for proactive sales based on machine lifecycle stage
Supporting internal improvement initiatives and continuous learning
What were looking for:
HND or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, can-do mindset
Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
Confident using MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Comfortable with BOMs and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
Understanding of engineering obsolescence and lifecycle management
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Team player with confidence to own individual responsibilities
Background in food equipment manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
The package:
£40,000 £60,000 depending on experience
Flexible working (initial 6 months office-based in Leeds, then hybrid)
Full home setup provided

Location:
You must be able to attend the Leeds office up to 2 days per week post-training. Candidates within 1 hourcommute preferred (flexibility offered for the right person).
