We’re working with a well-established, globally connected manufacturer seeking a driven Design Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop across the full product lifecycle—from concept through to production—while working with a business that values technical curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electromechanical products for high-volume production
*
Modify and optimise designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability
*
Engage with tooling, injection moulding, and metal pressing processes
*
Support test rig development and validation activities
*
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams across multiple global sites
*
Gain exposure to full NPI processes and structured product development
What You’ll Need:
*
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (2:1 or above preferred)
*
3D CAD proficiency (SolidWorks ideal)
*
Understanding of shop floor environments, tooling, and production methods
*
Experience or awareness of injection moulding, press tooling, or component assembly
*
A practical mindset, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn
*
UK driving licence and flexibility to travel occasionally
