Description:
Prospero teaching is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted Outstanding academy which require specialist support for certain pupils who are unable to adapt to the mainstream classroom.
The successful applicants will have:
· Experience working with ASD, SLD and PMLD
· Ability to work with challenging behavior
· Previous experience working between the ages of 2 to 19 years old
· Valid and enhanced child and adult DBS
The role consists of:
· Supporting the class teacher
· 1:1 time with students
· Personal care
· Keeping a level of focus and discipline to match the ages and abilities of the students in the classroom
· Building good student - teacher rapport.

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
