Your main responsibilities
1. Carry out routine servicing of lift/escalator equipment, including minor repair work and the routine replacement of components and in accordance with approved company procedures (PPE, PDA, Expert+ etc) across multi-unit sites and third-party interfaces
2. To rectify and reduce faults on lift/escalator equipment in cases of breakdown and check to confirm correct functioning
3. Checking the lift/escalator function as part of maintenance, checks to include, speed, motor start/stop, weight, noise, temperature and power supplies using approved company issued tooling and protective equipment
4. Carry out the routine inspection and adjustment in accordance with approved procedures. Reinstate lift/escalator and complete service documentation
5. Carrying out expert fault finding and diagnostic procedures using a range of techniques, technical manuals and appropriate test equipment, restoring equipment to service, including third party interfaces. Competence is required to make effective use of written or graphical information
6. Carry out Site surveys

7. Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift/Escalator maintenance or equivalent
8. Expert Electrical and Mechanical knowledge/skills, including multi-brand equipment
9. The ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and within efficiencies
10. Expert problem-solving skills & good technical report writing skills
11. Manual dexterity - Requires the use of hands, arms and feet for repetitive lifting; use of hands and arms to operate various hand and power tools and to record written information
12. Good communication skills at different levels (Client/Service Leader/Inspectors)
13. Mentoring and carrying out training to Trained and Advance Fitters
14. Holds a full UK driving Licence
