Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer
Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer required to join a market leading supplier of Industrial Automation products and systems. The successful Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer will manage customer inquiries and warm leads, generate quotations, assist with product selections, build relationships, and collaborate with teams to ensure timely delivery and post-sale support, all while identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
The Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer will have previous experience in sales or customer service, ideally within a technical or industrial sector, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage sales quotations, orders, and accounts. Must be commutable to Stockport.
Package
* £28,000 (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities
* Handle inbound customer enquiries and manage warm leads, ensuring customer requirements are met.
* Generate accurate quotations for industrial engineering products such as sensors, PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and switchgear, as well as process customer orders, and confirm product specifications.
* Assist customers with product selections and provide detailed information on product applications, ensuring suitability for customer needs.
* Develop and maintain relationships with industrial and wholesale customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling.
* Work with the engineering, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain a high standard of customer service.
* Provide post‑sale support to ensure continued customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within a technical or industrial sector.
* Experience within an engineering environment is advantageous, but not essential.
* Experience with sales quotations, order processing, and account management is beneficial.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Must be commutable to Stockport.
