Overview
As a specialist in graphics and a member of the COE AR/VR/GFX, the candidate will be a SME responsible for providing global 3rd Level Engineering support, covering on‑call shifts in case of emergencies, participating in the research and selection of new technologies, ensuring complete documentation is available to all COE participants, and providing level 2 support. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for training and overseeing the knowledge of Tier 2 support staff.
Responsibilities
* Conduct laboratory testing on new software versions and features, track bugs, monitor hardware for graphic systems, and test graphics deployments on the cloud.
* Provide troubleshooting support, follow up on issues with suppliers, manage tickets, and be available on‑call for global emergencies (major incidents).
* Create and update documentation for graphic systems, generate SOPs for Tier 2 support, provide training, and oversee Tier 2 staff knowledge.
* Attend COE meetings to track issues, discuss new projects, and analyze and define technologies.
Qualifications
* Strong experience with broadcasting equipment related to live productions, and knowledge of 2D and 3D graphic systems and tracking systems.
* Methodical troubleshooting skills in both laboratory and support cases.
* Detail‑oriented in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment across the organization.
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of implementing cloud‑based production solutions.
Working Conditions
Onsite. All working hours and days will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to applicable laws, WBD reserves the right to change this working agreement if essential to business needs, upon reasonable notice.
