The Role
Were looking for a passionate and drivenArea Sales Manager (ASM)to join our team and take ownership of theSouth UK territory. Reporting to theNational Sales Manager, youll be responsible for achieving and exceeding your areas sales plan by developing strong relationships with farmers and merchant sales reps.
This is a field-based role requiring regular farm visits, dual calling with merchant reps, and proactive engagement with key stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Achieve the territorys sales targets through strategic planning and relationship building.
2. Conduct at least 15 farm visits per month, either solo or with merchant reps.
3. Maintain a forward-planning calendar and update CRM with detailed meeting notes.
4. Analyse sales data to identify trends and propose corrective actions.
5. Support merchants at auction marts and farmers meetings.
6. Attend key national and regional agricultural shows.
7. Deliver presentations and build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
