What you'll do
16. Manage, lead & motivate the team
17. Hands on in the restaurant during service
18. Management of the bar area within the restaurant
19. Develop your team and work closely with your Assistant Manager
20. Engage with the guests
21. Manage the service whether this is breakfast on the weekends or lunch and dinner service throughout the week
22. Attend hotel meetings and function meetings
23. Manage the budget, P&L and Payroll
24. Continuously review the service standards and ensure the team are trained accordingly
25. To ensure the menu and environment is consistent with a luxury establishment
26. Run events and functions taking place within the Barn
27. Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure a strong team across front of house and back of house
28. Provide guidance to the team through daily meetings, team briefings, annual reviews and coffee chats.
29. Work closely with the General Manager on new concepts and ideas for The Barn
What you'll bring
30. Previous experience in a five star environment
31. Experience within a leadership role
32. Business acumen and experience of budget management
33. Proven financial success and ability to analyse data
34. People management experience
