Job Title: SEND Key Worker

Rate: Competitive daily rate (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Key Worker to join the Cheshire East Local Authority team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct and positive impact on the lives of children and young people with SEND and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the main point of contact for families and young people going through the EHCP process or receiving SEND support.
* Provide clear, accessible advice and information to families about services and processes.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with families, schools, and multi-agency partners.
* Coordinate support and ensure effective communication across education, health, and social care services.
* Monitor and track progress of allocated cases to ensure timely and appropriate support.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar Key Worker or SEND Case Officer role.
* In-depth knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP process.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work sensitively with families and manage complex caseloads.
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
