We are currently recruiting for a Calibration Engineer to be responsible for all aspects of electrical instrument calibration to national standards and to liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure they receive a first-class service.

Maintaining high quality ensures that products meet specifications, comply with industry standards, and minimizes costs associated with rework and recalls. The role of Calibration Engineer is key to maintaining these high standards.
Ensuring that mandatory and legislative QH&S / HS&E aspects of work are implemented at all times and that adequate training and dissemination of knowledge on safety and other general matters is given to relevant staff
Control and management of company assets, making sure Production requirements are met and ensuring audit compliance.
Managing and controlling calibration requirements for all monitoring and measuring instrumentation to national UKAS standards
Managing calibration database and records – including documenting and inputting data and results into the relevant system and maintaining the calibration database and filing system
Assisting in the development and improvement of inspection and calibration procedures
Supporting Product Quality Engineers as required
Supporting internal / external audits where required by the Quality Manager within the customer facility
Desirable - PCB Assembly and inspection experience
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
General understanding of Quality function
