Role Purpose
To professionally install uPVC, aluminium and timber windows, doors, conservatories, roofline products and warm roof systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications, Building Regulations, and company quality standards, ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and minimal remedial works.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Installation
* Install products in strict accordance with manufacturer guidelines, Building Regulations and company installation standards.
* Ensure all products are level, plumb, square, secure and fully operational.
* Carry out thorough quality checks prior to completion.
* Prevent avoidable remedial works through attention to detail and a right-first-time approach.
2. Customer Service & Conduct
* Arrive on site punctually and present professionally.
* Introduce yourself to the customer and explain the scope of works.
* Protect flooring, furnishings and property at all times.
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
* Remove all waste materials upon completion.
* Conduct a final walkthrough with the customer to ensure satisfaction.
3. Communication & Reporting
* Report survey discrepancies or unforeseen site issues immediately.
* Notify management of structural, compliance or specification concerns before proceeding.
* Complete all required installation documentation accurately.
* Provide photographic records of completed works where required.
4. Health & Safety
* Comply with all Health & Safety policies, risk assessments and method statements.
* Use access equipment and tools safely and correctly.
* Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
* Report accidents, incidents or near misses promptly.
5. Team Contribution
* Work collaboratively with team members.
* Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to a professional standard.
* Represent the Polar Windows Ltd brand positively at all times.

Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in window and door installation.
* Conservatory and warm roof experience desirable.
* Sound understanding of Building Regulations.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
