Bank Receptionist – Springfield Hospital – Bank Hours
The role
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our team on a Bank contract. You will work with delivering exceptional standards of administration and customer service whilst being the front face of the hospital. This is an extremely busy role liaising with patients, Consultants and all hospital departments. We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative, the ability to work within a team and adaptable. You must be computer literate – experience with Word and Outlook being essential.
Where you’ll be based
Our hospital is conveniently located on the outskirts of Chelmsford with plenty of free parking onsite. The hospital has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients who are self-funding treatment, patients with health insurance, or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.
We are proud to work with over 200 of the most experienced and qualified consultants locally, most of whom also have substantive posts within the NHS. Our consultants are supported by a team of highly skilled and friendly nursing staff who have your care and comfort as their highest priority and our Resident Medical Officer who is on site 24 hours a day.
What you will bring with you
1. Experience in a front facing or customer service role
2. Maths/English to GCSE level or equivalent
3. Proven organisational and communication skills at all levels, both written and oral.
4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including databases
5. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and consultants on a day to day basis applying appropriate methods and interpersonal skills
6. Positive, willing attitude
7. Self-motivated and possess strong organisational, interpersonal and above all customer service skills.
