 
        Do you take pride in fixing problems and helping customers get back on the road? Our client is looking for a hands-on, customer focused Field Service Engineer to join their team! Youll be out and about, servicing, repairing, and maintaining specialist vehicles across customer sites and company workshops. Hours: 45 hours per week | between 08:00 and 17:30 | Monday to Friday | Flexible working hours available What Youll Do: Diagnose and repair faults on vehicle chassis and mounted equipment Perform servicing and maintenance to a high standard Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure compliance with Department of Transport regulations Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve technical issues Accurately record all work using PDA software and maintain service documentation Travel to customer sites across the UK occasionally at short notice Maintain a safe, tidy, and professional working environment Communicate effectively with customers, delivering exceptional service and support Follow all health and safety procedures and complete risk assessments as required What Were Looking For: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, HGV Mechanic, or Workshop Engineer Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities Knowledge of vehicle technology systems and compliance standards Self-motivated and confident working independently Excellent communication and customer service skills Flexible with travel and working hours Competent with basic computer systems and technical documentation (Desirable) Experience with electric vehicles, IRTEC qualification, or HGV Class 2 licence If youre ready to take your engineering career on the road, wed love to hear from you!
