Thisrole is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices who are currently studying forNVQ Level 2/3, apprentices should note that the salary would be Agenda forChange Annex 21 trainee rate (75%max of band) until they have completedtheirapprenticeship.

This is an excellent opportunity for someoneto support The Well which is our off-site complementary therapy, informationand support centre for cancer patients down in the Town Centre, but provided byCancer Services and which sits under the Trust Lead Cancer Nurse.
This is a Receptionist role for the service,someone who will work with staff, patients and visitors to the Department. Therole is band 3 full time for 1 year but we could consider job share shouldthis fit with applicants applying.

Main duties of the job
This new type of receptionist will work onadministration tasks within the service understanding therapists diaries andbooking patients in, but will also develop enhanced skills talking to cancer patientsand families gaining patients views on support services, and assisting the teamLeader and Lead therapist at The Well with patient engagement and audits. Therest of the job will entail receptionist tasks and assisting in the smoothrunning of this exceptional service working with our very well-respected staffand volunteers.
You will be the person who meets patients fromthe lift opening and your personality must immediately put patients andfamilies at ease. We want someone with a warm efficient personality butsupport will be given. Experience working in health environments isessential.
