The Land and Property Department is a key part of how they plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
Your new role
As a Land Acquisition Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the Estates Team in the Land and Property department. Reporting directly to the Lead Acquisition Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of assisting with the capital investment programme. Your workload will be incredibly varied, from supporting the Lead Surveyor on relating strategies and national objectives to acquiring land, access and rights to help capital projects be delivered to budget and on time. In addition, alongside the Lead Acquisition Surveyor, you will also be assisting and supporting colleagues across the business by providing technical advice on various land-related matters including landpensation claims, CPOs and DCOs.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
1. Hold an MRICS accredited degree and be MRICS qualified
2. You should have extensive knowledge and experience of legal and regulatory requirements relating to land and property ownership, acquisition, understanding of property legislation and processes connected to land access and rights.
3. Experience of inspecting different types of land and property independently.
4. Excellent and demonstrable understanding of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
5. A good knowledge base and experience of the legal and regulatory requirements relating to the ownership, management, purchase and sale of land and property.
6. A full driving licence.
