The Retail Operations Team was formed to support the Retail and Mobile Networks to deliver commercial and customer focused results. To achieve this, we provide effective and efficient operational support for all key national initiatives. We implement and deliver programs of work and complex projects that support the continuous development and evolution of the branch network, with a focus on achieving performance and growth targets. As a key leadership role, the Senior Manager Operations will engage and lead staff through key changes pieces and business initiatives by implementing best practice change management and communication practices. Similarly, the role be responsible for development, embedding and measuring performance and performance insights through suite of Dashboards. The role is responsible for ensuring the operational Risk and Compliance metrics for the State are achieved and will work with key stakeholders to develop appropriate remediation plans to address under performance. Another key focus from the role is working with key stakeholders to design, deliver and embed the State distribution plan, along with realising the metrics set for the State’s efficiency, productivity and investment program. This role will report directly to Head of Retail Banking Operations and is an integral member in both the Retail Banking Leadership Team and the NSW/ACT State Leadership Teams. This is a Permanent Full time position based in either NSW or ACT. With a focus on the team’s ability to be present in the locations they support, it will be a requirement for the applicants to be within NSW/ACT. What you’ll bring to the role Demonstrated strong focus on performance, continual improvement, and operational excellence Ability to comprehend analytics and make recommendations or act on results to generate positive and practical outcomes The ability to deliver on multiple initiatives to a deadline without sacrificing attention to detail and accuracy Extensive background in analytical skills with an ability to translate into insights and action Proven ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organisation Experienced leader who can build highly collaborative and successful teams Highly developed ability to clearly communicate business operation back to strategic intent Relevant experience and/or knowledge of Operations, analysis or change management Still in two minds?
