Responsibilities
1. Support the preparation and submission of planning applications
2. Assist with planning research and site feasibility studies
3. Prepare plans, visuals, and supporting documents for planning activities
4. Review and assess sites for wind, solar PV, and battery storage potential
5. Assist in identifying and evaluating new development opportunities across the UK
6. Work closely with planning and development teams to progress projects
7. Use GIS and mapping tools to support site selection and analysis
Essential Requirements
8. Degree qualified in Planning, Renewable Energy, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline
9. Experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD
10. Strong attention to detail with a methodical and process-driven approach
11. Excellent communication and organisational skills
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
13. Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
14. Interest or experience in renewable energy, particularly wind energy
15. Associate membership (or working towards) RTPI or IEMA
16. Experience in site identification or development planning processes
