Management Accountant - Film
Award winning international Film business are looking for a Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Management Accountant to join their highly successful finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate, prepare and post month end adjustments and provide P&L, cash flow, and KPI variance analysis and commentaries.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain asset registers and post monthly interest and depreciation.
- Liaise with group companies to prepare and post intercompany recharges.
- Support UK film productions, including the setup of SPVs and liaison with production accountants.
- Assisting AR to ensure invoicing and cash collection are up to date.
- Perform VAT checks and preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Assist with the statutory and grant audit process.
- Maintenance of group reporting tools and active support of system developments and implementations.
- Ad-hoc projects/reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
- More than 50% through a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA)
- 2+ years' experience in a finance role
- Excellent Excel skills including nested formulas, vlookups, pivot tables & sumifs
- Proactive and organized with a strong ability to meet deadlines
- Positive attitude with a keen attention to detail
- Experience using SAP ERP or similar accounting software
- Passion for the film industry and regular interaction with content
