We are working with a leading engineering organisation in the water sector who are looking to appoint a Technical Specialist – Wastewater (Mechanical Bias) to act as a key technical authority within their process engineering team.
This is a high-impact role supporting major infrastructure and treatment projects, with responsibility for driving technical excellence, innovation, and best practice across the business.
đź’§ The role You will act as the go-to expert for wastewater engineering, with a particular focus on the mechanical aspects of treatment systems and plant design.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing expert technical input to bid and delivery teams
* Supporting the design and specification of mechanical equipment (pumps, pipework, sludge handling systems, etc.)
* Acting as a focal point for complex technical challenges across wastewater projects
* Assessing and implementing new and emerging treatment technologies
* Supporting development of engineering standards and best practice
* Liaising with external technology providers and equipment suppliers
* Contributing to innovation and R&D initiatives
