Job Title: Cleaner Salary: £8.922.48 per annum Location: Wildbore Vetstop Job Type: Part-time, Permanent Hours: 13.5 hours per week Shifts: Monday - Saturday: 6am - 7.15am We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our friendly veterinary practice. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe environment for our clients, patients and staff. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of cleanliness in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities. Cleaning and sanitising consult rooms and communal areas, both clinical and non clinical. Sweeping, mopping vacuuming and dusting floors and surfaces. Cleaning staff areas, waiting areas as well as toilets and kitchens. Emptying of bins and disposal of waste safely and appropriately. Using cleaning products and equipment correctly, following health and safety guidelines. Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control. Reporting any maintenance issues to management. Attending and completing all health and safety training, including fire training and manual handling. This role requires some light lifting. About you. Previous cleaning experience is essential, cleaning of a clinical setting is highly advantageous. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently where needed. Attention to detail. Comfortable working in an environment with animals. Good understanding of hygiene standards and COSHH, particularly in a clinical setting. What we offer 5 weeks holiday bank holiday birthday day.
