Key Responsibilities
* Raising shipping paperwork
* Packing product for international shipments
* Raising shipping paperwork and commercial invoices
* Processing shipment through customer portals
* Engaging with and coordinating transport agents
* Ensuring activities fully comply with current health, safety and environmental legislation
* Maintain a clean and tidy workplace following 5S principles
* Interacting with material controllers and production staff on daily priorities and issues
* Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded (Stocking)
Key Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a Logistics/Shipping department in a complex engineering environment such as Aerospace is advantageous
* Previous use and knowledge of SAP or ERP Systems is advantageous
* Good communication skills
* Problem solving skills
* Team working skills
* Work as part of the team to share ideas and support continuous improvement activities
* Ensure an effective interface with other departmental staff is maintained
* Enthusiastic flexible team player with a bias for action and strong work discipline
Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. If clearance cannot be obtained, the role may be ineligible or offer withdrawn.
