Job Overview
To actively participate as a member of the Theatre PACU Team and be responsible for contributing to the efficiency of the department. Under supervision, to assist in delivering individualised care to patients.
Responsibilities
* Providing support for the delivery of higher standard care to patients within the theatre complex, within the PACU.
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the theatre.
* Assisting theatre staff by giving individualized care to patients.
* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Education and Qualifications
* Good standard of education / adult literacy
* Complete NVQ in Operating Department Support in 2.5 years

* Is outwardly patient
* Is enthusiastic and cheerful
* Keen to increase knowledge and develop skills
* Able to accept constructive criticism
* Health care experience

* Manual handling
* NVQ 2 in Care related subject
