About The Role
I am a young girl living with my parents in our family home, in Kirkby‑In‑Ashfield. I was born with Exomphalos Major, a type of abdominal wall defect, and a congenital heart disorder that affects how my heart works.
I am also dependent on a ventilator via tracheostomy at night, and sometimes need suction to remove secretions, medication via NG tube and/or nebuliser, and overnight feeds via NG tube.
I require support to help me live life to the full, and learn about the World around me as I grow.
I like my life to be fulfilled and busy; I learn through play activities and love going out and about, enjoying parks, the local community and any activities that will make me happy. I love animals; we have dogs at home and I love to play with them.
About You
I am looking to recruit one or more Bank Waking Night Support Workers who can support me throughout the night with clinical tasks such as suction, nebuliser, ventilation and medication, as well as personal care.
The ideal candidate will be female to assist with personal care, live locally in or close to Kirkby‑In‑Ashfield, be flexible, patient, have a good sense of humour and a genuine caring nature.
You will need to be enthusiastic and inspiring, bringing a sense of energy into my life. You must also be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity, promoting my independence and respecting my home.
