Job Title: Data Protection Administrator
Contract Type: Fixed term for up to 12 months
Salary: £27,607.50
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, full time
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, Hybrid
Location: Liverpool, Speke, Estuary Boulevard

The difference you will make
Provide administrative support to the Data Protection function and support all areas of data protection compliance. The role reports directly to the Lead Data Protection & AI Governance Business Partner.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Demonstrable experience in a data protection/information governance focused administrative role
* Understanding of Data Protection and other associated legislation
* Good level of IT skills and literacy
Role Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support to the data protection team
* Log and process subject access requests (including information gathering, redaction and review)
* Log and process 3rd party disclosure requests (including information gathering, redaction and review)
* Log and process erasure requests
* Assist in maintaining a log of data breaches and near misses, including remedial actions
* Log and assist in investigating and responding to data protection complaints
* Assist in the maintenance and updating of Riverside’s Record of Processing
* Champion information rights, providing clear and coherent guidance to colleagues, customers, partners and suppliers
* Assist in creating and providing relevant management information for the Group, including breach reporting, key risk reporting and compliance with statutory timeframes
* Assist in driving ongoing engagement and collaboration between the DP team and other business directorates
* Ensure excellent service for all colleagues and customers when providing advice, support and lessons learnt
* Role model and embed Riverside ways of working, collaborating across the business to achieve the Riverside culture
* Comply fully with all Group policies and procedures
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as required
Person specification
Essential
* Demonstrable experience in a data protection/information governance focussed administrative role
* Understanding of Data Protection and other associated legislation
* Good level of IT skills and literacy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrate self-motivation
* Have good analytical skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to prioritise workload and demonstrate good organizational skills
* Be proactive in setting goals and achieving deadlines
Desirable
* Demonstrable experience of working within a highly regulated customer focused sector
* Experience of using One Trust software
