Job title: FalconWorks Core Programme Security Manager
Location: Warton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £54,793+ dependant on skills and experience
What You’ll Be Doing
* There is a requirement to travel to sites to provide security advice
* You will oversee the readiness of the team’s response to security incidents
* This role will require you to monitor performance of allocated staff in order to ensure that work is carried out effectively. You will provide on-the-job technical advice to new team members around tasks and act as a supervisor to team members and coach/mentor to all new team members
* Ensure you liaise with government regulators to refine requirements, frameworks and operational criteria ensuring this is communicated to Falconworks and its entities
* Support FalconWorks programmes and sites to produce accurate threat assessments and operational requirements
* You will be required to support the security culture, behaviours and communications by raising security awareness among employees and management in the local area and modelling behaviours that demonstrate BAE Systems values
* You’ll also have people manager responsibilities in this role
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
* Suitably qualified by experience having demonstrable security managerial background
* Experience of leading a team
* Experience of working within government security policies

* Relevant security qualification

Leading a team of qualified security professionals who provide support and advice to BAE Systems joint ventures and entities in relation to current government guidance and best practice.

Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
