Job summary
Due to increasing the size of our team we are looking for a part time Medical Receptionist to join us at The Corbett Medical Practice. This role is at the heart of our daily services and is the face of our patient communications, so strong communication, customer service, organisation, administrative skills and team working are essential.
Hours are part-time and will be between 20 to 30 hours worked between and - with at least one early and one late shift per week. Hours are worked over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
1. managing, directing and prioritising appointment requests
2. monitoring flow of patients
3. communicating practice processes to patient and providing information packs
4. advising and processing payments
5. responding to all queries and requests for assistance and chaperoning patients
6. directing/signposting patients to partner services
7. logging home visit requests
8. action ambulance/transport requests
9. maintaining reception and patient areas
10. greeting and directing visitors and contractors
11. scanning and filing correspondence, reports, results to patient records
12. processing tasks logged on the clinical system
13. processing repeat prescriptions
14. preparing and maintaining consulting rooms
15. staffing the practice reception desk and telephone
16. chaperoning clinical staff on request
About us
Corbett Medical Practice is a, purpose build, training practice situated in the Town of Droitwich. Patient population is currently, 14,500 and is increasing year on year. We are a 6 Partner Practice with a large team of clinical and administrative support situated on one site.
