Job Summary
The Cyber Security Administrator will be responsible for protecting the company's information assets, managing security technologies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and experience in governance and technology within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
Security Monitoring and Analysis
* Monitor and analyse security incidents and alerts. Ensure all security incidents are reported via the correct channels, incident reports are raised and monitored.
* Analyse reports to check for security abnormalities
Support the implementation of security actions:
* Rollout of security improvements as advised by Security Consultant
* Implementation of recommendations to reduce risk exposure
* Rollout of security projects (OKTA, Cloud Strike, and any tools as directed by HQ security team).
* Implementation of plan to meet Cyber Essentials
Third Party Application and Access Management
* Ensure certificates on external sites validated
* Support the Security Consultant review of supplier Security Appendix.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with specific experience in governance and technology within the financial services industry.
