During 2026 we will need temporary workers that can assist with container unloading.
We cannot guarantee hours or shifts, as these will be last minute bookings in the Greater Southampton area.
Pay Rate:£12.25 per hour (paid weekly)
Earliest Potential Start Time:07:50am
Latest Potential Finish Time:17:00pm
Essential Requirements:
* You must be able to reach up to 2-meters tall so you can reach boxes at the top of the shipping container.
* You must be able to work in a freezer / chilled workspace at -18 to -21 degrees.
* You must be able to lift and move a large volume of boxes weighing up to 25kg on to pallets at ground level.
Each container needs to be unloaded in 3-hours, and you could unload up to 2 containers every day.
Due to the ad-hoc nature of the shifts you will need to have steel toe capped safety boots available to wear whilst on site, so you will need to have a pair ready to go.
This is an extremely physically demanding role, we are happy to accept any candidate with experience in picking, packing, loading, unloading, baggage handling, construction, or equally physical / manual role.
Reliable workers will be offered more shifts as and when they become available.
