The University of Kent Academies Trust is seeking to appoint a reliable, hardworking and conscientious Cleaner to join our site team at Brompton Academy.
You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will ensure that allocated areas of the academy are cleaned to a high standard in line with Trust expectations.
Hours of Work
1. 19 hours per week
2. Monday to Thursday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
3. Friday: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
4. Term time only
About the Role
Your duties will include general cleaning tasks such as:
5. Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
6. Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
7. Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
8. Ensuring toilets and washrooms are kept clean and fully stocked
9. Supporting the site team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

12. Hardworking with a positive and flexible attitude
13. Able to follow health and safety procedures
14. Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided
