Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team.Key Responsibilities
* Preparing year-end statutory accounts
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Supporting bookkeeping for a range of clients
* Assisting with payroll tasks
* Using various cloud and desktop accounting systems (e.g., Excel, Xero, Sage, TaxCalc, BrightPay)
* Communicating with clients to gather information and resolve queries
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure work is completed accurately and on time
About you
Essential:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
* Strong understanding of accounts preparation, VAT, and bookkeeping
* AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent)
* Confident communicator with excellent client-handling skills
* Able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
