As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting our external sales team, managing day-to-day sales operations, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
You'll be responsible for early stage customer contact and closing lower-value deals, handling administrative tasks, conducting market research, and maintaining accurate sales data. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and proactive mindset will help drive the success of our sales function and support the wider business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Administration
· Support the external sales team with processing enquiries, and customer follow-up.
· Manage and close low-value sales opportunities.
· Maintain accurate records in Pipedrive CRM and ensure timely updates for reporting.
· Assist in preparing sales documentation and marketing collateral.
Market Research & Business Development
· Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitor activity.
· Maintain and analyse sales data to support decision-making and performance tracking.
· Ensure timely and accurate input for weekly scorecards and KPI reporting.
· Monitor key sales metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Communication & Brand Representation
· Act as a professional and knowledgeable point of contact for customers, suppliers, and partners.
· Represent the OWS Fire Rated brand with integrity and consistency in all interactions.
· Support marketing activities including LinkedIn content, events, and exhibitions.
Key Skills & Competencies
· Strong organisational and administrative skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Proficient in CRM systems (e.g. Pipedrive) and Microsoft Office tools.
· Proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
· Previous experience in a sales support, internal sales, or customer service role is required.
· Background in construction, technical products is desirable
· A desire to learn about the passive fire protection industry and in interest in building technical knowledge is a must
