Job Description
Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist – Mindplace Dartford, Crossways Business Park, Dartford, DA2 6QH. Permanent part‑time hours available (minimum 2 days per week).
Salary: Competitive salary plus excellent Bupa benefits. Based on full‑time hours; for part‑time roles salary will be pro‑rata.
Session requirements: Monday to Sunday; early shift 08:00–16:00, late shift 14:00–22:00. At least one shift must be late. Each day includes 5 appointments.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or low‑level brief interventions that demonstrate excellent clinical outcomes.
* Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to drive evidence‑based intervention, ensuring a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client.
* Provide different models of service delivery including face‑to‑face, telephone or video consultations, depending on client preference.
* Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and work collaboratively with the Clinical Leads and wider therapy team.
* Adhere to sessional limits depending on the client’s monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical Insurance, while working towards therapeutic recovery goals.
* Provide sign‑posting or onward referral as and when required.
* Provide ad‑hoc or one‑off well‑being support and coaching as and when required.
* Provide one‑off assessments and referral recommendations, when required.
* Work at a client level to provide group psycho‑education, raising awareness of mental health and well‑being, promoting mental well‑being guidance via remote presentation, workshop events and training as and when required.
* Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of Bupa’s service policies and procedures.
* Attend regular clinical supervision, both individually and group based, to support clinical practice, in line with BUPA and professional body guidelines.
* Work with the operational and clinical team to identify ways to improve client and employee experiences.
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role
* Full Accreditation with British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
* Post‑Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) which is BABCP accredited.
* At least 2 years’ post‑qualification experience providing high intensity CBT interventions, working with clients who have a range of presentations.
* Training and accreditation in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological treatment, such as EMDR (desirable).
* Corporate experience and business understanding.
* Excellent leadership and management skills.

* IT skills including proficiency on Microsoft Systems as well as electronic medical record systems.
* Ability to evaluate, plan and prioritise workload within demanding time scales.
* Proven experience of customer service and client liaison.
* Excellent application of clinical knowledge.
* Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
* Strong professional and personal drive.
