JOB – CAD/CAM ProgrammerLOCATION – Stoke-On-TrentTERM – PermanentSALARY – £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (plus benefits)My client is a well-established Engineering company specialising in precision components and bespoke manufacturing solutions for a variety of industries. They are looking to grow their production team by taking on a CAD/CAM Programmer to work in their Stoke-On-Trent facility.The CAD/CAM Programmer will ideally have the following attributes: • Previous experience in a CAD/CAM programming role within an engineering or manufacturing environment • Proficiency with software such as EdgeCAM, Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes (milling and turning) • Able to interpret technical drawings and engineering schematics • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team • NVQ, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing (preferred)The CAD/CAM Programmer role will involve: • Programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software to meet engineering specifications • Supporting the production team with efficient tooling and machining strategies • Creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacture • Working closely with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency • Optimising machining processes to improve cycle times and reduce waste • Maintaining and updating documentation for traceability and process controlIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
