We are seeking confident and initiative taking individuals to join our La Corrente front of house team that can deliver a personable, friendly and welcoming service while maintaining a professional demeanour to ensure customers have a special and unforgettable dining experience with us.
Duties
* Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow.
* Provide attentive service throughout the dining experience, including taking orders and serving food and beverages.
* Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, adhering to food safety standards.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to ensure a pleasant experience.
* Support team members in various tasks as needed to promote a cohesive working environment.
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
* Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining high service standards.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately.
* Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is advantageous.
* A friendly disposition with excellent guest services skills, demonstrating a passion for hospitality.
